Monica

Registered Dental Hygienist

Monica is a highly experienced Registered Dental Hygienist who has been an integral part of the Queen Anne Dentistry team since 2000. With over two decades of experience, she has developed effective methodologies to enhance oral health and alleviate dental anxiety among patients. Her approach is centered on intentional listening, ensuring she fully understands each patient’s concerns, goals, and past experiences, which fosters a trusting and comfortable environment for dental care.

Monica finished in the 99th percentile of her Dental Hygiene Board exams and was recognized as The Most Outstanding Student by her professors. Her current professional goal is to study health psychology. She firmly believes in forming personable relationships based on trust and integrity, and she looks forward to helping you improve your smile, increase your confidence, and overcome your dental fears through excellent clinical skills and patient education.

Born in Seattle and raised in Ballard and Magnolia, Monica’s local roots run deep. Her first concert experience was attending the Tickle Toon Typhoon, a true sign of a Seattleite. Currently residing in Renton, she has raised her twins—a 21-year-old son and daughter who are soon to be college graduates. Monica enjoys a variety of hobbies, including owning over 100 board games, listening to music (especially soul, blues, and country), reading and writing poetry, and learning new things. As she transitions into an empty nest, she is working on dedicating more time to her passions and finding joy in being among the trees.

Brittany

Registered Dental Hygienist

My love for the dental field started in 2014 when I graduated from dental assisting school. After 3 years of working as an assistant, I thought it was time for me to go back to school again in order to become a hygienist. I worked throughout my prerequisite classes and all of hygiene school as an assistant, and graduated from Lake Washington Institute of Technology in 2020. I met Dr. Arndt around that time and have been working here since July of 2020. He saw my potential and hired me to start out as a sterile tech while I completed my board exams and waited for my dental hygiene license to be active. I have loved working here with my coworkers the past several years and have really enjoyed getting to work with our new dentist, Dr. Blancaflor! I appreciate the work that has gone into making this practice such a great place not only for us to work, but a great dental home for our patients. My favorite part about this job is getting to know my patients and making them feel comfortable and safe in the dental chair.

If you’re one of my patients I’m sure you know all about me! But for those of you who don’t, I grew up in the Issaquah area and have lived in WA my whole life. I moved to Queen Anne when I first started with the practice and it’s my absolute favorite Seattle neighborhood! I now live in Lake City area with my fiance, his son, and our two weenie dogs. In my free time I love to walk with my dogs, do yoga, hike, travel, catch up on reality shows, and spend time with my friends and family.

Leticia

Registered Dental Assistant

I have worked with Queen Anne Dentistry for over 20 years, assisting the team with all aspects of patient care. I make sure to listen to each patient’s needs and help them to feel as comfortable as possible. Our team works really well together because we all want our patients to leave the office with great oral health and a beautiful smile to show for it!

When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my two children and our dogs, watching lots of TV series and movies, but most of all camping.

KYL

Front Office

I began working with Queen Anne Dentistry in 2022 and have enjoyed helping make a difference in people’s lives. At the front desk I always look forward welcoming patients to the office, taking care of billing and managing the schedule. The team is full of skilled practitioners who provide amazing oral hygiene while ensuring our patients are the center of our focus.

In my free time my husband and I enjoy traveling, though while around town you will typically find me gardening behind the office, bowling and taking long walks while thinking deep thoughts.

Front Office

I started working with Dr. Arndt in 2008, greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and making financial arrangements. Our office has a fun, family centered atmosphere, and we love the community we serve. Dr. Arndt has a genuine interest in each of his patients and treats everyone like he would his own family.

When I have free time, I enjoy hiking and photography.
