Jasmyn Blancaflor, DMD

Dr. Jasmyn Blancaflor was born in South Korea and adopted at four months old, alongside her identical twin sister. Raised in a small town in Eastern Washington, she later moved to Seattle to attend the University of Washington for her undergraduate education. 

Dr. Blancaflor’s passion for dentistry was ignited during a mission trip to Costa Rica and Panama, where she provided dental care to underserved communities. The experience deeply impacted her, particularly the profound difference dental care can make in the lives of those in need. 

After completing her Bachelor of Science in Cellular, Molecular, and Developmental Biology, Dr. Blancaflor pursued advanced education in the medical sciences at Mississippi College, earning her Master’s degree. She then went on to earn her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Nevada Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine. 

Following dental school, Dr. Blancaflor returned to Seattle to be closer to her family. She worked as an associate dentist throughout the Greater Seattle area for nearly seven years before taking over the practice of retiring Dr. David Arndt at Queen Anne Dentistry. 

Dr. Blancaflor is dedicated to continuing the practice philosophy of high-quality, compassionate care established by Dr. Arndt. She is committed to ensuring her patients feel comfortable and that their oral health is her top priority. Additionally, she strives to make every visit a positive and rewarding experience. Dr. Blancaflor upholds the values of integrity and honesty in her practice so that each patient receives the highest standard of care.
